New additions!
I’ve added 2 new collections to the “Faces” category: The Jazz Age, which are some shots taken at the Governor’s Island Jazz Age Lawn Party this summer, and The Girl in the Hat, which feature a friend of mine and were taken in Canada this past July.
A few more images from my Canada trip can be seen under “Lands.” I’ve only got Toronto up...

On a recent trip upstate, a friend and I made a detour (surprise to the other two friends who were with us) and visited Letchworth Village in Thiells, New York. I have some things I’ve been working on getting up on this site, but in the mean time, I’ve started yet another Tumblog (yes, another) on which I post photos from my archive and talk about them. I’ve finally gotten around to adding my series of subway photos called “You Sat Across From Me” to this site. The entire series can be found on Flickr and regular posts/new additions are still going to Tumblr whenever I have new ones to add, but I’ve put a selection of them here just for fun. I’ve had another photo published! I believe the book was actually released in November, but I only just got the final info on it. It was published in Italy and then the US. I’ve got a credit in the photo pages in the back of the book, and it’s a photo of Venice from my first visit, so I’m incredibly overjoyed about it. The book is on Amazon and this is the photo they...

I’ve finally finished adding the remainder of the photos from my recent trip to Italy. New work can be found in: Camposanto Monumentale, Strangers, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Bike Bells, Kevin the Stormtrooper, and McTart’s Adventures. The Daily Lala also continues to be updated!

I’ve finally finished editing my photos from my recent visit to Italy! I’m still working on getting them all up here, but so far, Genoa and Staglieno Cemetery (in Genoa) have both been added.

New subsection added to “Abandoned” featuring a slew of shots taken at Pleasure Beach, a ghost town located in Bridgeport, CT. I recently took a day trip out there with some fellow Urbexers and I have to say - it was much more interesting than I had anticipated.
The site has a pretty tragic history (click here for more) and it seems like they’re getting ready to finish...

New set: That Asylum, Revisited. Shot at Kings Park Psychiatric Center at the same time as the Resident set. The surrounding park was closed this week due to budget cuts. Glad I went when I did. Hopefully this won’t mean the end of all the creative photography that this place generates.

I’ve also started 2 new projects: The End, which is basically photos of my feet (in different shoes) at any stencil of the Black Eyed Peas album title The E.N.D. I didn’t know what the stencil was for until today, heh.

I’ve gone back and edited my photos from Paris in 2007. 10 new (to this site) photos of the abandoned Renwick Smallpox Hospital on Roosevelt Island. I visited the grounds last year, but didn’t have a chance to add the photos until now. I hope the preservation effort picks up. Every time I pass the island on the FDR, I notice more and more of the building seems to have collapsed.

Some exciting news - one of my photos has been published!
Five Dollars was selected, a few months ago, to be included in We Feel Fine: An Almanac of Human Emotion. The book was released on December 1, 2009 and my photo can be seen on the 92-93 spread.
I’m currently working on editing photos from my recent trip to Budapest and Vienna, so look for those soon!

Welcome!
Relaunch, hooray!
The site has been completely reformatted from a Flash based interface, to a CMS/CSS system. I think it’s much easier to navigate through, now, although I did love the previous version.
Everything is pretty straightforward - just use the links on the left to browse, and mouseover the photos to learn more about them.
